At Stewart Law Firm PC, I devote the majority of my practice to representing Illinois employers in labor and employment law matters.
Over the course of 20-plus years in the employment law field, I have gained valuable experience representing diverse organizations in the public and private sectors. Though I now devote my practice 100% to employers, I previously represented employees and labor unions. That experience gives me a 360-degree view of the field, which translates into deeper, more constructive insights for addressing labor and employment issues.
I currently serve as legal counsel for the Illinois Sheriffs’ Association in addition to representing diverse employers. My Guiding Philosophy Toward Employment Practice
I structure my practice around proactive rather than reactive legal strategies. Through prevention and early intervention, I am frequently able to spare my clients the time and expense involved in costly legal disputes. I also stay up to date on the evolving legal and regulatory framework in the employment law field, and I use that knowledge to help clients navigate compliance concerns.
I believe my role is both an advocate and counselor. To that end, I provide clients with the tools and knowledge they need to make informed decisions, advising them on all possible outcomes. By serving as a trusted partner on legal matters, including labor and employment disputes, I shoulder the legal burdens so that my clients can focus on the operation and success of their organization.
